Nuke 16 Launch Errors & Debugging

Currently, I’m having some issues with Nuke 16.0.4 launching on mac. Earlier versions work just fine, but I’m getting “/Users/keithmanlove/Library/Application Support/AYON/addons/nuke_0.3.5/ayon_nuke/startup/menu.py : error interpreting this plugin” at launch. Additionally, some more recent versions of Blender (4.3.2, 4.5.1) are launching but without the AYON menu.

I know these are unrelated but I also wanted to know the best way to debug these issues. I’ve checked the DCC and Ayon consoles but am not really getting anything from them.

I see this is the same issue, but the debugging question still stands.

Do you have this argument in blender application versions ?

--python-use-system-env

As far as I know, Becasue each DCC is different. therefore there’s no single standard way for debugging.

For nuke on Mac, Does this help debugging the issue?

Yes, it does. For anyone else on mac, the path should be “/System/Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app.” Had me stuck for a bit. I’ll post the output on the OG thread about the error.

I didn’t. I thought that was for older versions, but that did it. Thanks!
