Hi everyone,
I’ve been using SiteSync with the GDrive client, hosted on a personal Google account, since the end of May in order to work with an artist who cannot access our mounted studio drive.
Between the end of May and June, SiteSync worked seamlessly, however since the start of this month, the GDrive uploads have occasionally failed - indicating the storage quota error below.
Since there were no errors indicated in the Google Cloud dash and my storage space on the GDrive was not full, I removed all larger files that I had uploaded to the GDrive sync location, and then created a new service account to link to the AYON API - hoping that the credentials might reset.
This method of removing excess files, changing the service account, and then replacing the credentials JSON, worked from the start of July until today. However, since this morning, all attempts at uploading to GDrive have been met with the same error as above. Even after removing all files from the GDrive folder and deleting the previous service account, as well as pointing to a different folder location.
Finally, I tried restarting the sitesync setup on a different Google account. Though it looks like sitesync was able to initialize the folder heirarchy, the same error showed up, and the folders were not populated.
Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this error to occur? I thought maybe this could have something to do with this link in the startup guide, which allowed me to access the Google Drive API without starting the Google Cloud trial period. It might be that Google has patched this out and is cracking down on API usage without the trial enabled
