Shotgrid not showing up in tray after server crash/update

Hi there,

I’m not sure what’s happened here, but it seems that shotgrid/flow is no longer showing up in my tray icon

It seems like it is up and running in Ayon:

It seems to be working with a test server I have connected to the same shotgrid account still, just not with my production server.

Any places I should be checking first?

I’m wondering if it has to do with the server and api key for Shotgrid. The service account flipped to a user account once before when we updated.

I would check:

  • Admin console in Tray Launcher to see if console shows any errors.
  • Check the “Event Viewer” on AYON web frontend to see if the addon logs any errors
  • Check the “Bundles” page on AYON web frontend to see if the addon is actually configured and initialized accordingly.

And as always, with these integrations that connect to third party servers, like Shotgrid, Ftrack, double check your credentials configurations. :slight_smile:

I think it was removed.
Could you confirm if publihsing still works as expected?

Thanks for pointing this out. Yes, publishing is working.

Good to know this. I hadn’t received any complaints, only noticed that it was missing from the tray menu.
