Shotgrid Addon - Cannot Add New Folder Attributes Map entries

Hello,

I am trying to link the Shotgrid playlists entity with our Ayon custom attributed called playlists or the built in one called entityListCategory.

The problem is that I get this error every time I try to add a new entry. Tried everything so far. Also the Field type is not editable so I am not sure how AYON fills this in. Another thing that is a bit buggy is that when I drag and drop the unfinished entry it automatically inherits the Field type of the entry below/above.

Is there something I am not aware of?

Bumping this up for attention on this important issue. I am also having trouble adding new folder attributes.

Looks like this issue was brought up back in Feb as well.

I have a feeling that the attribute must first exist in AYON itself - and that maybe the Field Type is “auto-computed” from the AYON attribute as you type the name left hand side. But I have never used this myself. Maybe @Petr_Kalis knows more?

Looking at the screen shot, I can see that moving playlists attribute to the top works as expected. the SG and Scope field are the same.
which makes me wonder what is the type of your playlists attribute in AYON. I think it’s string which is the default type when creating a new attribute.

Hi @mustafa_jafar , That was just me demonstrating a bug.

Basically there is no way to create new mapping between the AYON attributes and SG fields apart from the default ones specified in the web app.

It keeps asking to specify the field type, that is also grayed out and the user cannot set it. Everytime you hit Save Changes you get the above error. It quite a big thing to have this feature working as far as ayon is not there yet when it comes to being user friendly to production.

As a workaround we have different event daemon plugins that do the attribute mapping instead.
