Maya launches old publisher instead of the new publisher

Hi all,

When I am launching Maya 2022 from the AYON desktop launcher in the early access beta, I’m currently seeing a Publish menu item:

However when I launch this menu item, it is currently running this Pyblish window.

From looking at the documentation, I should be seeing an actual AYON publisher window.

Am I doing something wrong here or is this a bug?

Hi.

that looks like you’re running older version on the desktop. The new publisher UI in Maya was only release with 3.16.0

Yep that’s correct I was on:

3.15.10-nightly.2

Will upgrade and make sure I’m seeing the new publisher UI.

Can confirm, using 3.16 launches the OpenPype publisher instead :smile:
