Hi
i was tring houdini 20.5 and have instant crashes when i touch anything ayon related. If i delete all ayon connected nodes and recreate it again it publishes ok but if i reopen houdini project it crashes again
i dont know what i need to attach to help debugging it because it just crashes

What houdini version are you using?
Please use Houdini 20.5.370+ or if a lower version of 20.5, use their Python 3.10 builds instead of the default Python 3.11 builds. See here .
Ok thanks!) Mine version is lower so i think this is the issue
I’m back again
After a log time i’m back to testing and now i’m on 20.5.410 and i have instant crash after launch
how to troubleshoot? i saw on git someone using 20.5 like normal

I’m using Houdini 20.5.410 just fine - so there’s no known issue. This may require debugging on your end to find the reproducable.
Can you launch Houdini with a dedicated log file output? At what point does it crash?
Can you find the Houdini crash log/dump? What does it say?
Could you try without Site Sync active?

Thanks - best to report with SideFX or Sapphire support then.
hey, how did you get this log from houdini? I’ve had some houdini crashes when clicking something from ayon menu, but then restarting launcher often fixes it and in my log dir in app data no logs were created from this crashes

I’d try to disable sapphire to narrow it down, I have zero crashes with houdini 20.5.370/410 on win11/ubuntu24.04
Yeah i worked if i disable ofx for houdini
