AYON Folder template names from Resolve

I’m running into a persistent issue with my folder naming and would appreciate some help figuring out where I’m going wrong.

My goal is to simplify the final folder name for my shots. Currently, AYON is creating a folder with the name DOT_AYON_102_046_0010 and I need it to be just 0010.

The full path to the folder is: X:\DOT_AYON\102\046\DOT_AYON_102_046_0010\10_CAMERA_IN\plate\DOT_AYON_102_046_0010

The issue is that I want to name the “DOT_AYON_102_046_0010” only “0010” or “0020” etc. My AYON project is empty and I am trying to populate it from this Resolve export but I need to fix this issue with the paths.

I’ve been trying to solve this by adjusting my templates, but nothing seems to work. Here are my current settings:

Could you elaborate?
Do you want to update the workfile name in the work directory?
OR do you want to update hte name in the publish directory?

I want the path to change from:

to:

The full path to the folder is: X:\DOT_AYON\102\046\0010\10_CAMERA_IN\plate\DOT_AYON_102_046_0010

How can I accomplish this?

The full path to the folder is: X:\DOT_AYON\102\046\0010\10_CAMERA_IN\plate\DOT_AYON_102_046_0010

Assuming your Resolve clip name is 0010, try to change your Resolve Clip Name template to {shot}.
