Hi, I’m looking at testing Ayon in a self-hosted environment and having issues with first-time sign-in.
I’ve followed the Ayon Server Local Deployment guide to deploy to Ubuntu in a Proxmox VM, and after deploying can access the site through the host IP at port 5000. However, it does not prompt me to create an admin user as detailed in the guide, but instead opens straight to a login page. I’ve tried the credentials in the settings/template.json file with no luck, as well as changing the credentials and redeploying. Am I missing a step here, or is there another way I can set up an account?
Apologies, I’ve found the step I missed - after reviewing the Ayon Server Provisioning guide, I installed build-essentials and ran ‘make setup’ within the ayon-docker directory, which created the default admin login and allowed me to access the site.
