AYON Blender Workflow

Hi everyone,
I’m new to this forum. I’m trying to create a similar pipeline to Blender: Dynamic workflow for Modeling > Rigging > Layout > Animation using linked libraries while maintaining references throughout the process.

I have some questions about it, and I’d really appreciate your help.

In the rigging step, I’ve seen that you use the vertex groups from the modeling step, but if we needed to weight the geometry, we wouldn’t be able to do that, right?

And if I understand correctly when applying face-based shading, the cube needs to be made local, so we would lose the reference, wouldn’t we?
