Hi,
Ayon’s Extract OIIO Transcode automatically add the Output Definition Name as a suffix to the output file name.
Is it possible to tweak this :
- The output file name ?
- The output directory ?
I checked ExtractOIIOTranscode plugin.
As far as I can tell, it just adds a new representation with new name and output name, it happens here.
And on publishing, the integrator kicks in and rename the files according to the matched template profile. which is mostly render. as this plugin is mostly used with render and review as far as I know.

Also, here’s a test run on my end. where all representations including the transcoded files live within the same product.

So, can we change the location and file name of a single representation within a product?

I use OIIO with Substance Painter.
In that case, it is this Anatomy that is used : Templates–>Publish–>Default
(I’m sure, as for me it’s different from the Render and Review templates)
What about adding new publish template and specify the profile for selecting that template in core settings?
ayon+anatomy://{project_name}/templates/publishsomething like
ayon+settings://core/tools/publish/template_name_profiles
This template would also change the main output of Substance Painter’s publish.
I wanted to only change the output of oiio.
But that’s not a blocker, I just wanted to check if there was an option that I missed.
